Re: Bug Reports

I've installed Marquee, but it does not work. At first I thought it was the localization. But after changing to default (English) en removing the local language pack, it still didnot work.

Can you help me

Re: Bug Reports
Hello Jeroen,

I have an update which resolves this error. In the meantime if you ensure that there is "http://" at the front of your URL it should be OK. Your code needs to meet the following criteria:

            If linkURL.StartsWith("http://") Then
               Return linkURL
            End If

Let me know how you get on.

Neil

Re: Bug Reports

Hello Neil,

Thanks for the quick reply.

I'm not that deep in resource codes etc. By ' if you ensure that there is "http://" at the front of your URL it should be OK.'  you mean infront of the URL of my website itself (thus in Internetexplorer). This is already the case.

If you mean something else please let me know, I'm a fast learner.

And let me know when the update is ready.

Thanks cheers

Jeroen

Hello Jeroen,

Read your post again. The link text is in the settings for the module. It is titled ' Link #1: ' to 'Link #5:' It needs to be something like: http://www.janetsystems.co.uk

I'm looking to post the update in the morning, I'll send you a copy shortly.

Re: Bug Reports

Hello Neil,

FYI, I didnot use the option for URL links, only the none option and the page option. Just after putting in a url, eventhought I don't want to assign one, it is working. And only with a url links, not any other links??!!

Thanks for the fast help. I'm looking forward to that update.

Cheers
