1. is there a token for the category name, author, or number of comments on an article? 2. i would like to add background gradient and do some styling to the elements in an article list. I know I can do inline styles, but would like to use a stylesheet. Can this be done? 3. Where and how could I replace the ratings images with custom designed ones? 4. I have the html document that came with the download, but is there more detailed documentation on formatting, managing articles, examples on the web site?
Thanks! Tony Angelopoulos |

Hello Tony,
In asnwer to your questions:
- The tokens are:
- Category name [category]
- Author - no token currently available
- Number of comments - no token currently available
for those above where there is no token, I'll look into the best method of adding/capturing the information.
- A stylesheet could be done. When defining the layout for each item in the category set-up use either classes of Id's for DIVs of Tables. Then either add your stylesheet definitions to the default.css definitions via the site settings admin page or by amending the CSS definitions for your skin.
If you have a layout, send me the details and I'll break it up to use classes/Ids for you.
- The existing images used are desktopmodules/janet.Articles/icon_star.gif and desktopmodules/janet.Articles/icon_star2.gif. One is laid over the other to give the percentage colour change effect. To change the images I would suggest replacing these - although future updates would over-write them. I'll add this to the list of suggestions - although must admit not sure what the timescale would be for its introduction.
- The HTML article covers most of the setup for the module. I'll look to adding some example presentation styles, for example for the listing mode. I'll also review the documentation - let me know if there are any specific points for me to cover.
