To transfer your .com domain name to Janet Systems follow the details below:

1. Ensure that the current administration contact email address for the domain is valid. The person receiving email at this address needs to expect emails related to the domain transfer and respond accordingly.
2. The domain may be locked at the control panel. If this is the case then it nmeeds to be unlocked to permit the transfer.
3. Janet Systems will initiate the transfer.
4. An email will be sent to the administrative contact for the domain from OpenSRS with instructions on how to confirm the transfer.
5. Once the transfer is confirmed it will take approximately 24 hours for the transfer to complete, for transfers from 123-reg or UKREG. Other providers may take longer.
6. It is possible to recieve further email from the registrar. This may contain further instructions required to authorise the transfer of the domain.

Technical Requirements

• Domain names which have been registered, renewed or transferred within the past 60 days aren't eligible for transfer. This applies to all domain registries, and is not optional.
• The transfer must not be prohibited by the existing registrar.
