The Janet Systems DotNetNuke GoogleAds module allows the scripts required for the Google Adsense to be held centrally for the website, using their channel names. For each instance of the Google Adsense module select the channel which it is to show. We have also used this module for maintaining the Amazon affiliates code.

janet.GoogleAds DotNetNuke Module

- Simply add Google Adsense to any website page without having to get and copy the script in each time.
- Get the code correct once, it will then be correct for each instance
- May be used for other script code, for example Amazon Affiliate programme.
Details
The janet.GoogleAds module was developed to make adding the same Google Adsense code to different pages much easier, rather than copying the code in for each instance. The channels and their corresponding Adsense code are held within a database table. To use the code a module is added to a page and the channel to be displayed is chosen.

janet.GoogleAds Edit channel details
In the image above we are adding the Google Adsense channel code into the database and assigning a channel name to it. Below we are selecting one of our chanels to be assigned to our module instance. If you wish to leave the module in place on the page, but not show any content , for now, then simply don't select a channel.

janet.GoogleAds Select channel
Of course what is good for handling the Google Adsense code, is also good for handling other code. As an example we have also used the janet.GoogleAds module with the Amazon affiliates code. Because the code is placed directly onto the page, without the use of the DotNetNuke text content editor we don't suffer the problems associated with the editor and its re-writing of JavaScript.
Editing and Configuration
There are two edit options available for the Google Adsense module: the channels scripts and the corresponding code may be maintained; the choice of channel asignment of each module instance may be done.
Selecting the Edit Channels option produces a list of channels (blank if no channels stored). From here a new channel may be added, or one of the existing selected for editing. Each channel is given a name, select the name by which you have called this instance on Google, and the associated code.
To have a particular channel shown simply choose the Select Channel option and select your channel from those whcich you have created. If you wish select the first <Not Selected> option. This will leave the module on the page but with no output.
