We specialise in Content Management Systems (CMS) websites, particularly DotNetNuke, allowing easy management and updating of the site without HTML knowledge. Mr Panda
The Mr Panda shows feature the adventures of Mr Panda. The shows boast a rare mix of traditional family enjoyment. Tap, ballet and modern dance, some of which is presented by dance schools local to each venue, add panache and energy to each performance. The shows feature bright quality sets including large magiacal illusions beutiful custom made costumes.
The Mr Panda Shows are presented by the production company Rainbow Bigbottom & Co. Ltd., a vibrant, friendly prfessional theatre company, which has been arranging children’s theatre and entertainment since 1988
Janet Systems was responsible for the creation of the website and content in co-ordination with the client. There is strong use of the colours black and white, reflecting the colours of Mr Panda. Lots of photos are used illustrating the fun and adventure of the shows.
The Mr Panda website uses DotNetNuke a content management system, taking advantage of its easy to maintain and lots of features.
Ultramagic Balloons
Ultramagic Balloons is the second largest manufacturer of hot air balloons in the world. The company anufactures a range of hot air balloons and a range of cold air inflatables. This website focuses on the UK interests of Ultramagic Balloons. Current UK based clients include private and commercial users who have purchased balloons ranging in size from 77's to 330's with one commercial client purchasing 4 balloons in 12 months.
Janet Systems worked with the Client to develop the new website. For inspiration we took the promotional documentation produced by Ultramagic. We couldn't resist the opportunity to add a sliding menu into the website skin.
The new website uses DotNetNuke to allow easy maintenance by both the client and Janet Systems on their behalf.
Soft Playtime
Soft Playtime provides a hire service of play items for children. These include ball pools; large gym block shapes and a number of large shapes. Many of the shapes are made from polyester foam with vinyl fire retardant covers.
One of our existing customers approached us with a new website. Working from a flash template outline, provided by our Client, Janet Systems incorporated the items for hire within the flash story, adding links and references to the items for hire.
A departure from our usual content management based websites. The Soft Playtime website is largely Flash based. Using primarily Flash we were able to explore in a different direction creating a whole Flash storyline and interaction as opposed to using Flash for shorter features.
Business Made Simple
The Business Made Simple Portal provides a free online resource for your business. The website is a practical online resource for starting, running and growing your business.The portal is divided into a number of areas including:
- News - the latest business news
- Community - members can publish their profile and interact on the forum
- Knowledge - numerous articles related to starting, running and growing a business
Janet Systems was responsible for the implementation of the skin of the website. We also produced and extended DotNetNuke modules to meet the needs of the website: our article module was extended to incorporate features specified; A sign-in module was developed; and a user/portfolio module was created which integrates with the article module too.
The Client approached Janet Systems, having already decided to use DotNetNuke as the platform for the website.
Whitegrove FC
Whitegrove FC is a football club for boys and girls betwen the ages of under 7 and under 15. Within the club there are a number of teams, typically 3 for each of the ages under 7 to under 15.
Janet Systems was asked to produce a website where the team results could be entered and displayed. Much of the output/presentation related to the teams is automated, taking details from the teams, their fixture lists and their match results and reports.
The client had experimented with the DotNetNuke content management system(CMS) prior to approaching us. It was chosen for its ease of use. It would also enable multiple contributors to input to the content of the website.
Bracklesham BoardRiders - Northkites
The North Kites website is the eCommerce website for Brckeleham Boardriders. The eCommerece website targets the North Kites kiteboarding equipment range. Products available includes boards, clothing and spares.
The work undertaken by Janet Systems for this client was the creation of a template based website design. Janet Systems also configured the website and entered the initial product database on behalf of the customer.
A dedicated eCommerece platform was chosen as the best fit for this eCommerce website. Zen Cart was the platform chosen.
Further work for this website has included the integration of Zen Cart and the Sage accountancy software. Updates made using the Point of Sale terminals now act directly on the website stock levels.
