Description	It appears that there is a difference of opinion regarding the Lachesis robot.  Depending on where you look there robot details are as follows: Lachesis is owned by Intel. It is used to monitor web site response times. It is a Japanese robot. Having read further it is possible that the confusion may be because the robot is now in use by NEC Research Institute Corporation.
