A while ago I had an error with the Standard DotNetNuke text editor - Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Initially I thought that the problem related to the inclusion of the editor as a user control within a module. Further investigations showed that the problem was casused by a missing language in the directory structure for the text editor.
To resolve the error I copied the American English file en-US.xml and renamed it to en-GB.xml. The languages for the Standard DotNetNuke text editor are to be found in the directory /Providers/HtmlEditorProviders/Ftb3HtmlEditorProvider/ftb3/Languages.
The above error and solution were relevant to the 3.1.13 version of DotNetNuke.
