The purpose of the Map Quest module is to show a map of a location. The map shown may be one of 10 different zoom levels, of two different sizes. We also have a choce as to whether, or not, to show the address of the location.
Having inserted the module into the page the next step is to edit the map settings, by placing the mouse over the pencil, in the usual way, and selecting Edit Map Settings.

Enter the address details for the location for which you wish to show the map. For UK based adddresses I have found that the unit # field is not required.

If you are having trouble getting a UK map to appear try using the locality, rather than the town or city. For example, I have found that using Calcot, rather than Reading to work. I have also found that when a map doesn't appear it is worth going to te Map Quest web site and trying the details there. If more than one map is presented then this may be the reason why the map is not working in the module. I like the results for the Map quest module. However, I have found getting the results to be a trial.
Mapquest have changed the method by which they handle the request sent to their servers. This has resulted in requests made from outside of the USA failing. The details relating to the location may still be entered, and the details will be presented. However, a lovcation map will not be shown.
I have also observed problems in version 2.0.4 of DotNetNuke, whereby the '&' within the URL for Map Quest is mis-represented as &. I would suggest upgrading to version 2.1.2 where this problem does not exist.
Unfortunately, version 3 of DotNetNuke has removed support for the Map Quest module. However, at the time of this review a replacement may be obtained from http://www.falafel.com/
