The User Accounts tab enables us to maintain the users who have either registered themselves on the web site, or directly by us, the site owners. The user accounts tab is closely associated with the security roles tab and should really be conseidered as part of a pair. The purpose of this tab is to provide the details relating to the users.
DotNetNuke suppports a User heirarchical user policy. Users may be assigned different levels of access, with an Administrator user (not to be confused with the Administrator superuser of the Windows operating systems) having the most rights within the portal.
Our first view of the the User Accounts tab is the view shown below.
