For version 3 of DotNetNuke, we have a little more choice in our setting of the date format. We now need to consider each individual user.
Lets start with the unregistered visitor to our web site. For this user we need to set the date format by using the Site Settings option under the admin menu. Under the Sub-Headings of Advanced Settings and Other Settings we have the option of settings the Default Language.
Now consider the registered users for the web site. To set the language, and hence the date format for these we need to firstly select the User Accounts admin menu item. Select the chosen user. Under the Preferences heading we can select the language.
For the Host account, we follow a similar practice to the registered users. Select the SuperUsers Accounts under the Host menu options. Note you will need to be logged into the web site as the host account to do this. A preferred language option is given under the Preferences heading.
