I apologise for this article, its a piece of self indulgence. You know what its like, the book you require isn't to hand you're looking for the ASCII conversion of a character. This article is for me, a listing of the ASCII character codes with the ASCII numbers and their character equivelents.
The term ASCII stands for American Standard Code ofr Information Interchange. The ASCII table was introduced to provide a standard method of translating computer code, based on binary, to the decimal code and to the alphabet, numerical characters and originally a limited set of other gramatical characters.
